5. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS AND CONSENT CALENDAR <br />This agenda item affords members of the public the opportunity to directly address the <br />City Council /Redevelopment Agency on any subject relating to the City <br />Council /Redevelopment Agency which is not on the agenda or any item within the <br />Consent Calendar. If the subiect you wic"h to address is not on the acienda. please <br />understand that the Brown Act (Open Meetino Law) precludes the Council /Aaencv from <br />takino anv action at this time. All items within the Consent Calendar are considered to be <br />routine and the City Council will waive the reading of the Consent Calendar (except the <br />title of any ordinances) and adopt all resolutions and ordinances, and approve other items <br />by one motion and one vote. Final Acceptance —Roosevelt Avenue Reconstruction Project Phase II <br />Staff contact: Saber Sarwary, Senior Civil Engineer 780 -7370 ssarwarvOredwoodcitv.orq <br />Recommendation: <br />Accept the improvements for the Roosevelt Avenue Reconstruction Project Phase <br />II, authorize the release of bonds and retention, and retain $10,000.00 to ensure <br />the last bit of work is completed.
