A <br /> <br />Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on December 8, 2003. <br /> <br />Present: Council Member Bain, Foust, Hartnett, Howard, Ruskin, Vice Mayor Pierce <br />and Mayor Ira <br /> <br />Absent: None <br /> <br />The following motion was made, carried and entered on the Minutes <br /> <br />M/S Hartnett/Pierce After completion of the public hearing, approve by motion, <br />the Police Chief's recommendation to dedicate Citizens Options for Public Safety <br />(COPS) funds to the salaries and benefits of the new police officer positions <br />approved by City Council pursuant to the staffing study of 1997. <br /> <br />The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote by all those present. <br /> <br />Patricia S.
