City Manager (Oral) Update <br /> City Manager Bell announced that the Redevelopment Agency had been abolished and <br /> this will have impacts to General Fund. He reported that this matter will be before <br /> Council at the February 6 meeting with the mid-year budget update. Mr. Bell also <br /> announced that staff will be doing community meetings around strategic initiatives to <br /> elicit community input on the strategic goals and initiative. <br /> Council Member Bain said that the annual report was the best he has seen and he <br /> really appreciated it. <br /> Council Member Pierce thanked the downtown business group for all their dedication to <br /> the holiday season. She noted that they made a difference. Mayor Aguirre echoed those <br /> sentiments and said they will be before the Council at the second meeting in January so <br /> that they are given the recognition they deserve. <br /> 10.
