2. Waive first reading and introduce Ordinance amending Sections <br /> 20.117 and 20.118 of Division 4, Section 20.150 of Division 5, and Sections <br /> 20.184 and 20.186 of Article VII of Chapter 20 of the Code of the City of <br /> Redwood City relating to Parking in the Downtown Area. <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AMENDING SECTIONS 20.117 AND 20.118 OF DIVISION 4 AND SECTIONS <br /> 20.184 AND 20.186 OF DIVISION 9 OF ARTICLE VII OF CHAPTER 20 OF THE <br /> CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO PARKING IN THE <br /> DOWNTOWN AREA MINUTE ORDER- 12-040 <br /> Mr. Vorametsanti, City Engineer, provided a brief report on the increased parking <br /> demand. He mentioned that in the past this area was reserved for staff vehicles but <br /> these vehicles have been moved to the Marshall Street parking structure. One Council <br /> Member thanked staff and the City Manager for allowing more members of the public to <br /> patronize the shops and park in this area. Mayor Aguirre also thanked staff and the City <br /> Manager for making this possible. <br /> Mayor Aguirre opened the public hearing. There was no public comment. <br /> M/S Ira/Seybert to close the Public Hearing. Motion carried unanimously by voice <br /> vote. <br /> M/S Foust/Ira to introduce the ordinance. Motion carried unanimously by electronic <br /> vote. <br /> B. Appeals of the December 13, 2011 Planning Commission Certification <br /> of the Environmental Impact Report and Related Approvals for the 2580 <br /> EI Camino Real Residential Project. (603) <br /> Recommendation: <br /> 1. Hold a Public Hearing on the Appeals of the December 13, 2011 Planning <br /> Commission actions. <br /> 2. Uphold the Planning Commission's certification of the Environmental Impact Report <br /> and related project approvals based on the findings and subject to the conditions <br /> contained in the attached resolution. <br /> 3. Deny Redwood City Citizens for Responsible Development appeal. <br /> 4.
