Reject, by motion, the apparent low bid of $479,455 submitted by Jonas & <br /> Associates, Inc. of Martinez for the Water and Sewer Replacement Project <br /> (Hillcrest Drive, Circle Road, and Hopkins Avenue) as non-responsive for the <br /> reasons contained in this report. Minute Order 10-023 <br /> 2. Approve, by motion, the contract documents and award the contract for the <br /> Water and Sewer Replacement Project (Hillcrest, Circle Road, and Hopkins <br /> Avenue) to the second lowest bidder, KJ Woods Construction, Inc. of San <br /> Francisco, for their responsive and responsible low bid of $518,000 and <br /> authorize the City Manager to increase the contract amount up to 10% of the <br /> amount awarded if necessary.
