SPECIAL ORDER OF THE DAY <br /> A. Golden Oar Award — Jeff Ira, Mayor of Redwood City. Vice Mayor Aguirre took <br /> over this part of the meeting and explained that this race was hosted by the Bair <br /> Island Aquatic Center (BIAC) and part of the first Port Fest. Nancy Radcliffe, <br /> Planning Commissioner, introduced the item and shared some photos and the <br /> Golden Oar Award. Council Member Pierce, as the leader of the Council boat <br /> thanked her team members. Ms. Radcliffe shared who was on her team and <br /> thanked all those who were present. Council Member Pierce was presented with <br /> the Golden Oar Award as Council won the race this year. Vice Mayor Aguirre <br /> explained that this was extremely fun and wonderful event. <br /> 5.
