STAFF REPORTS <br /> A. City Council Appointments to the Library Board. (209) <br /> Recommendation: <br /> Appoint three applicants to the Library Board. Council action will be to vote for <br /> three seats that will expire June 30, 2014. This will be a voice vote. <br /> Council voted for the following applicants: <br /> Council Member Foust: Diane Belknap, Alexander Schernig and Barbara Valley. <br /> Council Member Bain: Stefanie Boicelli, Kathy Jung, Alexander Schernig. <br /> Council Member Gee: Diane Belknap, Stefanie Boicelli, Alexander Schernig. <br /> Council Member Pierce: Diane Belknap, Stefanie Boicelli, Alexander Schernig. <br /> Council Member Seybert: Diane Belknap, Stefanie Boicelli, Alexander Schernig. <br /> Council Member Aguirre: Diane Belknap, Stefanie Boicelli, Alexander Schernig. <br /> Mayor Ira: Diane Belknap, Stefanie Boicelli, Alexander Schernig. <br /> The three appointees to the Library Board are Alexander Schernig, Stefanie <br /> Boicelli and Diane Belknap. Joint Study Session on the Stanford in Redwood City Project. (601) <br /> Recommendation: <br /> 1. Consider the project update and overview of the draft Stanford in <br /> Campus Redwood City Precise Plan; <br /> 2. Direct the City Manager to begin a negotiation process with Stanford <br /> University for a development agreement. <br /> Ms. Riordan, Senior Planner, addressed the Council with information about the project <br /> (presentation on file). Mr. Teri Bottomley provided some design details (presentation on <br /> file). Connectivity befinreen downtown and this area was explained and discussed. <br /> Spinas Park was also covered in detail in terms of access. Flooding and impervious <br /> surfaces were mentioned in broad terms. Council and Planning Commissioners posed <br /> questions of the applicant. The issue of the high water table came up and was <br /> discussed.
