2. SERVICES OF CITY. <br /> a. Pay contractor the sum of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) to be used for <br /> funding of the 2013 Spring Art Show. <br /> 3. It is understood and agreed•that this agreement is for the performance of expert <br /> professional services, and that in the performance thereof you shall be deemed <br /> an independent contractor, and not an employee, agent or other representative <br /> of the City. Services to be performed hereunder shall be deemed unique <br /> organizational services, and you shall not assign, sublet, transfer or otherwise <br /> substitute your interest in this agreement or your obligations hereunder, without <br /> the prior written consent of the City. <br /> 4. Contractor acknowledges and agrees that it shall bear ail costs postcard <br /> production described in the agreement which exceed the amount provided by the <br /> City of Redwood City as described in paragraph 2a. <br /> If the foregoing terms and conditions are acceptable to the Contractor, and the <br /> Contractor desires to contract for the funds herein described, kindly have the original <br /> thereof executed and return the same to the City.
