VIII. Expenditure of Funds <br /> Grant funds are to be used for the explicit purposes set forth in Section VII above and may be <br /> modified only with the written approval of the SHD. No portion of this grant may be used for <br /> lobbying or election purposes. <br /> IX. Confidentiality <br /> All personal identifying student information will remain strictly confidential and will not be <br /> shared with any other entities without the express written authorization of representatives of all <br /> parties, except as otherwise required by law or necessary to effectuate the purposes of this <br /> Agreement. <br /> X. Procedures for Resolving Disputes <br /> in the event of a dispute, difference of interpretation or appeal of a decision regarding the <br /> terms and/or conditions of this agreement, settlement shall first be sought through discussion <br /> with SHD's Healthy Schools initiative Director and CITY's Parks, Recreation, and Community <br /> Services Director. If settlement cannot be reached, the issue shall then be presented to the <br /> Chief Executive Officer of SHD and the City Manager of Redwood City, for joint resolution by <br /> them. <br /> XI. Record Keeping and Reporting <br /> CITY shall maintain sufficient accounting records regarding the expenditure of funds and permit <br /> inspection of the records if requested. An interim report shall be presented to the SHD Healthy <br /> Schools Initiative Director in January of each grant cycle describing the implementation of the <br /> PE Plus Program, the number of coaches hired, the schools where services are being provided, <br /> and the number of students being served. Funding of the second portion of the annual grant is <br /> contin�ent upon receipt of a satisfactory interim report. <br /> An annual narrative report on the program or projects carried out with these funds shall be <br /> delivered in writin� alon� with a brief presentation to the SHD Board of Directors in June of each <br /> fundin� cycle (July 1 - June 30). The report should also include the number of students served <br /> and metrics of evaluation, which will be collected and reported in collaboration with PCC.
