RJC:ek:1A2/59-7 ORDINANCE N O. 926 ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE TIME AND PLACE OF REGULAR AND SPECIAL MEETINGS OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND THE REDWOOD CITY PLANNING COMMISSION; AND, REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 424 AND ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section I. REGULAR MEETINGS: The regular meetings of the Council of the City of Redwood City shall be held at the hour of 8:00 P.M. in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, Hall of Justice and Records, Redwood City, on the first four Mondays of each and every month except when such Monday or the preceding Sunday is a holiday as defined by Section 6700 of the Government Code of the State of California. All such meetings shall be open to the public. Any meeting may be cancelled in advance by order of the Council entered upon the minutes thereof. If any meeting is so cancelled the City Clerk shall forward written notice thereof to each member of the Council and to such other persons that request such notice and have filed their names and addresses with the City Clerk, unless such notice is waived as provided in Section 3 hereof for Special Meetings. Failure of any Council member or any other person to receive notice of cancellation shall not invalidate or otherwise affect the action of the Council in cancelling the meeting. Section 2. ADJOURNED MEETINGS: The Council may adjourn any regular, adjourned regular, special or adjourned special meeting to a time and place specified in the Order of Adjournment. Less than a quorum may so adjourn from time to time. If all members are absent from any regular or adjourned regular meeting, the City Clerk or Deputy City Clerk may declare and order the meeting adjourned to a stated time and place. When a regular or adjourned regular meeting is adjourned as provided in this
