The agreement became effective on July 1, 1998, for a term through June
30, 1999, and was renewable on a year-to-year basis for each fiscal year from July 1
through June 30.
On September 2, 2003, the Parties executed Amendment No. 1 to the original
agreement to renew the agreement, adjust the hourly rates and commitments, and
restate the terms, conditions, and services of the agreement.
On August 8, 2006, the Parties executed Amendment No. 2 to the original agreement to
once again renew the agreement, adjust the rates and commitments, and restate the
terms, conditions, and services of the agreement.
On June 28, 2007, the Parties executed Amendment No. 3 to the original agreement to
once again renew the agreement, adjust the rates and commitments, and restate the
terms, conditions, and services of the agreement. The terms of Amendment No. 3 were
for five years, commencing on July 1, 2007, expiring on June 30, 2012.
In April, 2012, the City of Burlingame and Redwood City's IT Manager began to discuss
the terms of the next support agreement as the current one, Amendment No. 3, was
expiring on June 30, 2012. On June 18, 2012, Burlingame's City Council approved
resolution No. 49-2012, authorizing their City Manager to sign a one-year extension to
Amendment No. 3. Accordingly, we are now presenting the agreement to Council for
approval.
