09/10/2012 <br /> be preserved in a healthy state,the Arborist shall require replacement of any <br /> tree removed with another tree or trees in the same general location as the <br /> damaged tree. The number of trees adequate to compensate for the loss of the <br /> tree that is removed shall be determined by the Arbarist. <br /> 6. All debris created as a result of any tree removal work shall be removed by <br /> the project applicant from the property within two weeks of debris creation, <br /> and such debris shall be properly disposed of by the applicant in accordance <br /> with all applicable laws, ordinances, and regulations. <br /> 7. In the event that any of the existing trees do not survive within five years after <br /> the subdivision completion and it is confirmed by a certified arborist that the <br /> trees were damaged primarily due to construction impacts of the project,then <br /> the homeowners association shall be responsible to replace the damaged trees <br /> to the satisfaction of the City. <br /> 8. Prior to the commencement of any construction activity on the project site, <br /> the Arborist shall inspect the tree protection measures required to be in place <br /> before the start of construction to ensure that they have been completely and <br /> properly installed. <br /> 9. The Arborist shall conduct period inspections throughout the construction on <br /> the site to verify that the tree protection measures outlined in the Tree <br /> Protection Plan are being followed. <br /> 10. Prior to the conveyance of any lot, and prior to the release of the subdivision <br /> financial guarantees,the Arborist shall inspect the individual lot and the <br /> overall project,respectively,to confirm that all tree protection measures, <br /> including any post construction requirements, such as aeration, mulch beds, <br /> and fertilization, have been satisfactorily completed. <br /> 11. Root Pruning. During and upon completion of any trenching/grading <br /> operation within a tree's dripline, should any roots greater than one inch(1") <br /> in diameter be damaged, broken or severed,root pruning to include flush <br /> cutting and sealing of exposed roots should be accomplished under the <br /> supervision of a qualified Arborist to minimize root deterioration beyond the <br /> soil line within twenty-four hours. <br /> 12. Pruning. Pruning of the foliar canopies to include removal of deadwood is <br /> recommended and should be initiated priar to construction operations. Such <br /> pruning will provide any necessary construction clearance, will lessen the <br /> likelihood or potential for limb breakage,reduce `windsail' effect and provide <br /> an environment suitable for healthy and vigorous growth. <br /> 5 <br /> RESO.#15217 <br /> MUFF#613 <br />
