09/10/2012
substantially alter the existing drainage pattern of the site in a manner that could
result in substantial erosion or siltation on or off site.
Mitigation: MM HYD—6: The project shall install a stormwater treatment system so that runoff
would be filtered over a minimum of twenty-five(25)feet of vegetation or through
other equivalent means and will not degrade water quality before discharging into the
City storm drain system and eventually Cordilleras Creek. Prior to recordation of the
final map,the applicant shall enter into an Operation and Maintenance Agreement,
and provide a maintenance plan, with the City to ensure the ongoing operation and
maintenance of treatment controls for the on-site drainage system.
Finding: Implementation of MM HYD—6 would reduce the project's impact on water quality
post-construction to a less than significant level.
Facts in Support of Finding: Implementation of MM HYD—6 would reduce the project's impact
on water quality post-construction by complying with the NPDES permit that
requires treatment measures to be incorporated into the project to reduce
contaminants in surface runoff as described in Section 2.2—Hydrology and Water
Quality of the Draft EIR on pages 50-63, which is hereby incorporated by reference.
Noise
Impact: Impact NOI—1: Noise generating activities associated with demolition and
construction at the project site would temporarily elevate noise levels in the area
surrounding the project site.
Mitigation: MM NOI—1: The project shall implement the following measures to reduce the
duration and volume of construction noise:
a. Limit construction to daytime hours(7:00 AM to 8:00 PM) Monday through
Friday, with no construction activities on weekends or holidays per Section
24.32 of the City of Redwood City Municipal Code.
b. Construction activities or equipment shall not generate noise levels exceeding
ll 0 dB(A)per Sec. 24.31 of the City of Redwood City Municipal Code.
c. Utilize"quiet"models of air compressors and other stationary noise sources
where technology exists.
d. Prohibit unnecessary idling of internal combustion engine.
14
RESO.#15217
MUFF#613
