Exhibit B <br /> Description of Work <br /> Annual maintenance in the CITY's storm surge channel (Bayfront Canal) to remove <br /> vegetated growth to prevent blocking storm drainage pipes and impeding storm water <br /> flow in the channel including but not limited to: <br /> • Removal of overgrowth and vegetation from within the channel bed of <br /> the Bayfront Canal. All spoils and vegetation removed from the <br /> channel bed and/or the access areas shall be removed from the <br /> property and shall not be stored on any part of OWNER's Property. <br /> • Requires access to a minimum of three work sites within the property <br /> (as shown on Exhibit A). <br /> • Requires access by and use of the following heavy equipment, (a) <br /> CITY dump truck to off-haul spoils from the site and (b) crane truck <br /> and bucket to remove spoils from the channel. <br /> • Work shall also include the minimal trimming and removal of <br /> overgrown bank vegetation that impedes access and visibility to the <br /> work sites. <br /> • CITY shall test all storm drains with dye or other sufficient methods to <br /> determine location of all outfalls. <br /> • The Work shall not involve the dredging of the Bayfront Canal <br /> channel. <br /> � CITY shall cover and protect property drainage facilities during work. <br /> • CITY shall postpone the Work if the weather conditions dictate, i.e. <br /> significant rainfall, and CITY alone will determine dates work shall be <br /> done and whether the weather so impacts the ability to perform that <br /> the Work must be halted and recommenced at a later date. <br /> • Work may also be postponed to a later date due to CITY's need to <br /> respond to rain emergencies elsewhere in the CITY. <br /> Page 6 of 6 <br />
