' • o Maintain ongoing communication with RWC Together ambassadors and at least 2 ambassadar mini-training sessions during the 2012-2013 year o Maintain strong partnership with Immigrant Youth Action Team (RWC Together) 0 12 Steering comtnittee meetings for Redwood City Together 0 6 CARON led Gang workshops reaching 200 parents 0 50 home visits to families providing health,legal and violence prevention referrals and information 0 3 field trips for 100 siudents participating in CARON after-school activities 0 7 neighborhood watch programs and one community advisory group 0 6 community dialogues between 200 community members and the Sheriff's Office 0 2-8/week Community Academies The total hours that the CES will be engaged in the work will be 40 hours per week CES will be responsible for the following actions: • Provide facilitation support for community dialogues,steering committee meetings,gang workshops,and other project meetings(includes agenda development,facilitation,note- taking and follow-up) • Provide training and coordination support for leadership training sessions • Assist with the development and implementation of community outreach materials and distributing appropriate materials to support informed participation • Translate written materials into Spanish when necessary • Coordinate logistics for sessions,such as scheduling,location,refreshments,interpretation, childcare,etc. • Collect and arganize data from dialogues and meetings,maintaining an ongoing database • Participate in PCRCs Facilitation Team and other work-related meetings • Ensure quality facilitation by facilitating/co-facilitating and/or coaching volunteer facilitatars • Maintain productive, collaborative relationships with key community contacts In order to develop and maintain a successful partnership, RWC 2020,C.A.R.ON. Program, and PCRC agree to the following: 1. To maintain effective communication by: • Respecting everyone's perspective and concerns,at all times. • Interfacing with families in a warm, encouraging,strength-based manner. • Participating in the creation and development of an effective internal communication system among all partners,internal and external,to allow for the timely notice of changes in service, staffing or schedule and other important issues. 2. To work closely to ensure an integrated delivery of services to students,families and community. 3. To coordinate evaluation efforts to strearnline data collection, avoid redundancy, share findings and data across.programs and services and use findings to increase program effectiveness. 3
