Proposed use of fiscal year 2012-2013 Byrne Justice Assistance Grant <br /> funds (Byrne JAG) by the Redwood City Police Department and <br /> budget appropriation to the General Fund Budget <br /> Chris Cesena, Administrative Police Captain, presented the report explaining how the <br /> grant funds will be spent. He offered to answer any questions. There were none. <br /> The Mayor opened the Public Hearing. There was no public comment. <br /> M/S Foust/Gee to close the Public Hearing. Motion carried by unanimous voice vote <br /> with three Council Members absent. <br /> Recommendation: <br /> Conduct a Public Hearing, and by resolution, approve the grant application <br /> and recommendation of the Chief of Police to expend $16,773 in Fiscal <br /> Year 2012-2013 Byrnes JAG funding towards police equipment. <br /> RESOLUTION No. 15221 OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AUTHORIZING <br /> THE POLICE CHIEF TO EXPEND $16,773 OF BYRNE JAG FUNDS IN FISCAL <br /> YEAR 2012-2013 <br /> M/S Foust/Bain to approve the resolution.
