10/08/2012 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 15223 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 15143 <br /> WHEREAS, on September 12, 2012, the City Council adopted Resolution <br /> No. 15143, a Resolution of the City of Redwood City regarding the composition and <br /> procedures of the Architectural Advisory Committee; and <br /> WHEREAS, Section 4 of the Resolution should be amended to clarify for <br /> purposes of legal compliance that a quorum is three of the five members; and <br /> WHEREAS, Resolution 15143 requires that all five members of the <br /> committee be licensed architects or landscape architects residing or working in the <br /> City of Redwood City or its sphere of influence and the recruitment taking place <br /> immediately after its adoption did not note this change in qualifications and <br /> accordingly any member appointed under the prior rules should be grandfathered in <br /> until his or her term has expired. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The last sentence in Section 4 (Meetings) of Resolution No. 15143 is <br /> hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Three members present shall constitute a quorum of the <br /> Committee for the transaction of business." <br /> 2.
