EXHIBIT"A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES. TIME AND FEE SCHEDULES <br /> PROJECT DESCRIPTION: <br /> Design support for the proposed water tanks at the California site. <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES: <br /> G&E Engineering Systems shall perform the following: <br /> a) Assist in reviewing any formal proposal / work plan by the consultant selected to design the <br /> California Water Tank Project. Provide input as to the level of effort, need for subsurFace work, etc. <br /> b) Review seismic hazard information prepared by the selected consultant for the site (shaking, and <br /> ground settlements, etc.). Provide recommendations for site spectra (horizontal and vertical, at 5% <br /> damping and methods to consider lower damping); selection of importance factors; selection of <br /> response modification factors; and potential for settlements; <br /> c) Review any subsurface information developed by the selected consultant. <br /> d) Review decision method to select befinreen steel or concrete tank(also tank size, etc.); as well as <br /> type of pipes, etc. used for the project. ' <br /> e) Review 50%/90%submittals. Provide comments. Attend one meeting with city staff and selected <br /> consultant to discuss detailed design, at/or around the 50%design stage. <br /> Deliverables: Letter report(s)addressed to RWC staff. <br /> TIME SCHEDULE: <br /> Work will be scheduled to coordinate with the overall project schedule. <br /> FEE SCHEDULE: <br /> The level of effort for the tasks above: <br /> a)4 hours <br /> b)4 hours <br /> c)4 hours <br /> d)8 hours <br /> e)20 hours <br /> HOURLY RATE SCHEDULE <br /> Principal $224.00 <br /> Senior Technical Specialist $198.00 <br /> Technical Specialist $177.00 <br /> Senior Engineer $156.00 <br /> Engineer $135.00 <br /> Drafter $125.00 <br /> Administrative $62.00 <br /> G&E shall provide services outlined above for a not to exceed fee of$10,000.00, payable within 30 <br /> days of city's receipt of acceptable deliverables. <br /> ATTY/AGR/2012.158/G&E ENGINEERING SYSTEMS <br /> REV:09-24-12 VR <br /> Page 4 of 4 <br />
