EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES AND TIME SCHEDULE <br /> PROJECT DESCRIPTION: <br /> Re-design and re-plan of City Manager's, City Attorney's, and Community Development <br /> Director's office areas to incorporate security measures and operational needs at City of <br /> Redwood City, City Ha11,1017 Middlefield Road. <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES: <br /> Consultant shall perform the following services: <br /> PROGRAMMING PHASE 1 (previously identified as Authorization to Proceed #1 dated <br /> 10/12/2011): <br /> Re-design / Re-plan of the City of Redwood City's City Manager, City Attorney and <br /> Community Development Director Office areas to incorporate changes in security and <br /> operational requirements. <br /> 1. Provide field investigations as required to confirm current conditions as they relate to <br /> the original documents. <br /> 2. Provide initial space planning studies to revise the existing space plan / room layouts <br /> at the City Manager's area (approximately 3,000 gross square feet) to accommodate <br /> the following: <br /> a. Reception Area: seating area for four(4); security access door. <br /> b. City Manager: Executive Assistant visual control / access to City Manager; <br /> relocate existing City Council Members/Mayor's office to vacant area above <br /> Council Chamber; accommodate storage, files, legal library, and copy <br /> machines within the immediate work area or at the vacant area above the <br /> Council Chamber. <br /> c. City Attorney: one (1) main office with adjacent office space for three (3) <br /> additional attorneys; two (2) admin work station; one (1) work area for part- <br /> time intern; conference room for six (6). <br /> d. Community Development Director: Relocate the Community Development <br /> Director's (1 St floor) office to Conference room area room 1 B space and <br /> redesign current Community Development Director's office space as a <br /> conference room. <br /> 3. Provide an analysis of furniture, both existing pieces in storage and/or new <br /> selections. <br /> PROGRAMMING PHASE 2 (previously identified as Authorization to Proceed #2 dated <br /> 8/27/2012): <br /> Continuation of professional design services for the re-design / re-plan of the City Manager, <br /> City Attorney and Community Development Director Office are.as. <br /> 4. Finalize three (3) space planning studies (Scheme #1, Scheme #1B, 8� Scheme #2) <br /> generated as a result of the initial Programming Phase to accommodate the following <br /> requirements and requested changes/ revisions: <br /> Scheme#1: <br /> a. Re-plan the existing City Attorney's office area to include four (4) City <br /> Manager offices, one (1) City Mayor/City Council Office, one (1) Conference <br /> room, one (1) flex workspace for intern. Re-design Executive Assistant to the <br /> City Manager area to allow for visual control of access to City Manager.
