. <br /> AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO EXTEND AND AMEND AGREEMENT FOR <br /> PROFESSIONAL DESIGN SERVICES <br /> NBBJ LP <br /> This endment No. 2 is entered into and effective as of the Z-�day of <br /> , 2013, extending and amending the agreement dated <br /> October 22, 012 y and between the City of Redwood City, a charter city and municipal <br /> corporation of the State of California ("City"), and NBBJ LP ("Consultant") (collectively, <br /> the "Parties") for rofessional design services and construction administration services <br /> for the City Hall ecurity and Operational Office Remodel Project. <br /> RECITALS <br /> A. On October 22, 2012, the Parties executed Agreement for Professional <br /> Design Services ("Original AgreemenY') in the amount of$35,500.00; and <br /> B. On January 9, 2013, the Parties executed Amendment No. 1 to the <br /> Original Agreement in the amount of $106,000.00 for a not to exceed total amount of <br /> $141,500 ("Amendment No. 1") (the Original Agreement and Amendment No. 1 are <br /> collectively referred to herein as the "Agreement"); and <br /> C. The Parties have negotiated and agreed to amendments to the Agreement <br /> attached to and incorporated herein by reference as Exhibit A (Scope of Services), <br /> Exhibit B (Second Amended Schedule of PerFormance), and Exhibit C (Second <br /> Amended Fee Schedule). <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these recitals and the mutual covenants <br /> contained herein, the Parties agree as follows: <br /> 1. In addition to those services contained in the Agreement, Consultant will <br /> provide those services described in Exhibit A. With this Amendment, the total <br /> Agreement amount shall not exceed Two Hundred Thousand Three Hundred Fifty <br /> Seven and 00/100 Dollars ($200,357.00). <br /> 2. City will pay Consultant for all work associated with those services <br /> described in Exhibit A an amount of Fifty Eight Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty Seven and <br /> 00/100 Dollars ($58,857.00), for an aggregate amount of Two Hundred Thousand Three <br /> Hundred Fifty Seven and 00/100 Dollars ($200,357.00) Consultant will provide City, on a <br /> monthly basis, copies of invoices sufficiently detailed to include hours performed, hourly <br /> rates, and related activities and costs for approval by City. <br /> 3. The performance of all services by CONSULTANT shall be to the <br /> satisfaction of the CITY. <br /> 4.
