EXHIBIT "A" LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY
<br /> The land referred to herein below is situated in the city of Redwood City, County of San Mateo,
<br /> State of California, and is described as follows:
<br /> Parcel one:
<br /> at the point of intersection of the northeasterly line of the Pulgas rancho with the northwesterly
<br /> line of Hopkins avenue (formerly eleventh street), as shown on the map entitled "town of
<br /> Mezesville", filed august 1, 1856, and copied into book 1 of maps, at page 79, records of san
<br /> Mateo county, California; thence from said point of beginning, along said northeasterly line of
<br /> the Pulgas rancho, south 58° 17' 54" east 583.49 feet to the northwesterly line of Alden street;
<br /> thence along the last mentioned line produced, north 47° 32' 06" east 190.07 feet to a point;
<br /> thence northerly on the arc of a curve to the left, said curve having a radius of 15 feet; a central
<br /> angle of 93° 24' 33" and being tangent to the last mentioned course at the last mentioned point,
<br /> a distance of 24.45 feet to a point on the southwesterly line of veterans boulevard; thence along
<br /> the last mentioned line, northwesterly on the arc of a curve to the right, said curve having a
<br /> radius of 2,562.50 feet, a central angle of 3° 44' 03" and being tangent to the last mentioned
<br /> curve at the last mentioned point, a distance 167.01 feet to a point; thence north 42° 08' 24"
<br /> west along a line tangent to the last mentioned curve at the last mentioned point, a distance of
<br /> 3.23 feet to a point; thence westerly on the arc of a curve to the left, said curve having a radius
<br /> of 15 feet, a central angle of 88° 05' 20" and being tangent to the last mentioned course at the
<br /> last mentioned point, a distance of 23.06 feet north 42° 08' 24"west 80.01 feet; thence north 47°
<br /> 28' 06" east 14.50 feet, and north 42° 08' 24" west 280.01 feet to the northeasterly prolongation
<br /> of the northwesterly line of the aforementioned Hopkins avenue; thence along said prolongation,
<br /> south 47° 34' 06"west 361.89 feet to the point of beginning.
<br /> said land also being a portion of the land shown on that certain 3.625 + acre parcel as shown on
<br /> that parcel map entitled "parcel map 69-4, being a Resubdivision of portion of section 18,
<br /> township 5 south range 3 west, mount diablo meridian and base", recorded November, 1969, in
<br /> book 8 of parcel maps, at page 44, official records of san Mateo county.

<br /> beginning at the intersection of the course described with a length of 98.23 feet in parcel 4 of
<br /> deed no. 322 to the state of California, recorded December 21, 1950, in volume 1996, at page
<br /> 609, of official records, with the northeasterly prolongation of the southeasterly line of Samson
<br /> street (formerly tenth street) as tenth street is shown upon the map entitled, " town of
<br /> Mezesville", filed in the office of county recorder of San Mateo county, on august 1, 1856, in
<br /> book 1 of maps, at page 79; thence along said 98.23 foot course, north 42° 08' 24" west 80.00
<br /> feet to the southerly corner of the parcel of land described in directors deed no. 322-4-6-dd,
<br /> recorded May 9, 1957, in volume 3216, at page 540, official records of the County of san Mateo;
<br /> thence along the southeasterly line of last said parcel north 47° 28' 06" east 14.50 feet to the
<br /> northeasterly
