Time for additional meetings and/or conference calls may increase <br /> fees. However,we would not anticipate this increase would be significant unless mare than 2 <br /> or 3 meetings are required. <br /> • An E.�cutive Summary. We will provide the City a discussion outline with significant detail, <br /> but this document is meant to allow us to explain results when we meet. It is not meant to be a <br /> stand-alone explanation of results. An Executive Summary is a stand-alone report <br /> summarizing our results. Our fees to prepare an Executive Suinmary for either the CaIPERS <br /> study or the OPEB study would be approximately$1-1,500 for each project. <br /> ■ Hourly rates include provision for miscellaneous expenses. <br /> To complete our review,please provide us: <br /> ■ Census data for the 18 San Carlos active firefighters: name,gender,birth date,medical plan, <br /> single/2-party/family coverage,total CaIPERS service including service at other agencies(if <br /> available),and expected annual compensation at Redwood City. <br /> ■ Copy of Redwood City's Ca1PERS Safety June 30,2010 Actuarial Valuation,and the June 30, <br /> 2011 valuation when available. <br /> ■ Copies of other CaIPERS valuation and contribution rate related correspondence,if appropriate. <br /> ■ Employer Paid Member Contributions(EPMC): <br /> • Does the City pay EPMC or not? <br /> • If so then are amounts paid included in pensionable wages? <br /> • If included in pensionable wages are they included by a contract amendment or resolution and <br /> reported each pay period? <br /> We are prepared to begin this project immediately.
