EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />We understand that the scope of work includes the following: <br /> <br />1. Modifications to the Broadway/ Woodside Road Intersection traffic signals and <br /> modifications to the eastbound Broadway left-turn lane. The street work includes <br /> providing topographic survey for Broadway Street, reconstructing the median, <br /> removing/replacing portions of the pavement structural section (with City standard <br /> structural section), signing and restriping. <br /> <br />2. The traffic signal modifications include adding additional left-turn arrow signal heads <br /> to all four existing poles with no other modifications to the poles. <br /> <br />3. Prepare Caltrans Encroachment Permit. <br /> <br />Our scope of services will include the following tasks: <br /> <br />Task 1: Meetings, Project Management, and Data Gathering <br /> <br /> · Meeting with the City to discuss City requirements, key staff roles and <br /> responsibilities, project schedule, coordination with utility companies, and <br /> project deliverables. <br /> · Attend up to two (2) meetings with City staff to discuss progress issues and <br /> review comments. <br /> <br />Task 2: Prepare 95% Plans, Specifications & Estimate (PS&E) <br /> <br /> · Prepare 1:200 layout plan sheets of the street modifications with limits of work <br /> clearly shown, including proposed striping and additional signing. <br /> · Prepare conceptual traffic handling plans for City review. <br /> · Prepare preliminary traffic signal modification plans. <br /> · Prepare preliminary Engineer's Estimate. <br /> · Prepare draft Technical Specifications. <br /> · Prepare Caltrans Encroachment Permit <br /> <br /> Task 3: Prepare Final PS&E <br /> <br /> · Based on the approved 95% plans, prepare the final plans necessary for bidding <br /> and constructing the project. Utility relocations, if required, will be shown on <br /> the appropriate layout sheet.
