. • _ • <br /> � O R I G I N A L <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12980 12/16/96 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT TO SECTION 2.3 <br /> OF THE BYLAWS OF THE HOUSING AND HUMAN <br /> CONCERNS COMMITTEE RELATING TO TERMS OF OFFICE <br /> OF MEMBERS OF THE COMMITTEE, AND AUTHORIZING AND <br /> DIRECTING ADOPTION OF AMENDMENT BY SAID <br /> COMMITTEE <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has heretofore approved the Bylaws of the <br /> Housing and Human Concerns Committee; and <br /> WHEREAS, Section 2.3 of said Bylaws establishes the term of office of <br /> each member of the Committee; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to revise the provisions of the Bylaws <br /> relating to said term of office; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. Amendment of Section 2.3 of the Bylaws of the Housing and Human <br /> Concerns Committee is hereby approved, to read as follows: <br /> "2.3 TERM OF OFFICE. The term of office of each member <br /> of the Committee shall be four (4) years, expiring on May 31, of the <br /> fourth year; provided, however, that appointments to the Committee <br /> shall be made such that terms shall expire in even-numbered <br /> years." <br /> 2.
