REDWOOD CITY PARI�� , RECREATION AND COMMUNI. � SERVICES DEPARTMENT 1 <br /> EXHIBIT "A" <br /> AEROBICS VENDOR SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> The City of Redwood City is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide an <br /> aerobics program for the City of Redwood City Parks, Recreation and Community Services <br /> Department. The vendor will be responsible for the entire aerobics program as specified in <br /> this exhibit. <br /> A. REQUIREMENTS OF VENDOR <br /> 1. Handle all class registrations. <br /> 2. Set class fees, collect all fees, provide receipts to individual participants if <br /> needed, provide a system to allow individual participants to utilize any <br /> aerobics class in this system, handle refunds, and track all class registrations. <br /> 3. Create, copy and distribute all publicity for the program, other than the space <br /> afforded in the City's Quarterly "CityWide" brochure. <br /> 4. Monitor doors at all classes. <br /> 5. Provide all necessary equipment needed to provide the aerobics classes, including: <br /> batteries, headbands, a stage, weights, steps, as well as a stereo, if not available. The <br /> City will provide approximately 30 sq. feet of storage to the vendor. <br /> 6. Dry mop floor of the aerobics room or gymnasium after each class. <br /> 7. If the vendor uses a stage, the vendor must set-up of stage before each class and <br /> break down stage after each class. (Note: stage must be provided by the <br /> vendor and have a scratch-proof surface that does not damage the floor. ) <br /> 8. Any and all equipment provided by selected vendor must not damage the floor in <br /> any way. Any damage to the floor, due to the vendor stage or other equipment <br /> must be repaired at the cost of the vendor. <br /> 9. Arrange for instructor substitutions when necessary such that the classes are <br /> provided on a continuous basis. <br /> 10. AlI arrangements for hiring and compensating instructors will be the sole <br /> responsibility of the vendor. <br /> 11. The vendor must provide the City of Redwood City with a Certificate of <br /> Insurance by January 20, 1997, in the amount of $1,000,000.00, naming the City of <br /> Redwood City, and its Council, Boards, Commissions, officers, employees and <br /> agents as additional insured. <br /> 12. The vendor must submit a part of this proposal, a detailed list of the vendors <br /> experience and history in providing aerobics services, including number of classes <br /> taught per week, number of instructors involved in the program as well as <br /> participants served by the program. A list of references must also be provided by the <br /> vendor. <br />
