12/16/96 <br /> 0 R I G I N A L <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12973 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR STORM DRAINAGE <br /> PROJECT (CERRITO AVENUE); AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN <br /> OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12933, adopted October 21, <br /> 1996, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Storm Drainage Project (Cerrito <br /> Avenue) Redwood City, California; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, fourteen bids were received <br /> for the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> WHEREAS, Cal-North Engineering, Inc. of San Francisco, California is the <br /> lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> award said bid to Cal-North Engineering, Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of Cal-North Engineering, Inc., in the amount of Twenty-three <br /> Thousand Four Hundred Twenty-one and No/100 Dollars ($23,421.00) computed <br /> in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated November 20, 1996 for the <br /> Storm Drainage Project (Cerrito Avenue), is hereby accepted and said bidder is <br /> hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> 2.
