12/16/96 <br /> . 0 R I G I N A L <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12974 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF THE <br /> SIXTH AMENDMENT OF THE DISPOSITION AND DEVELOPMENT <br /> AGREEMENT FOR THE MEZES PLAZA PROJECT <br /> WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City <br /> (the "Agency) and Mezes Group, Inc., a California corporation (the <br /> "Developer") have negotiated a Sixth Amendment (the "Amendment") to <br /> that certain agreement entitled "Disposition and Development Agreement <br /> for the Mezes Plaza Project," as amended (the "DDA"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City (the "City") is a party to the <br /> DDA to the limited extent that the City is to contribute to the Project an <br /> easement eight (8') feet in width for underground parking under the <br /> portion of Broadway that abuts the Project Site; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed and considered the <br /> Amendment. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL DOES HEREBY <br /> RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> This Council hereby approves and authorizes the Mayor and <br /> the City Clerk to execute and to attest, respectively, that certain <br /> Amendment entitled "Sixth Amendment of Disposition and Development <br /> Agreement for the Mezes Plaza Project" on behalf of the City of Redwood <br /> City, such execution to bind the City to the limited e�ent set forth in <br /> the DDA and the Amendment thereto. <br /> * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> 12974 <br />
