<br /> As a condition precedent to the satis€actory completion of the said Contra�t, the above

<br /> the sai�i work, during which time if the above bounden Principai, his or its heirs, executors,
<br /> administrators, successors or assigns shalf fail #o make full, complete and satisfactory repair
<br /> and replacements or totalfy protect the said City from loss or damage made evident during said
<br /> period of one ('{) year#rom the date of acceptance of said work, and resulting from or caused by
<br /> defective materials or faulty workmanship, in the prasecution of the work done, #he above
<br /> obiigation shall be and remain in fuil force and virtue.

<br /> Ca(ifornia Civil Code Section 2819 regarding cansent ta change, extension of time, alteration, or
<br /> additivn ta the terms of the Contract or to the work to be performec! thereunder, or fhe
<br /> Specifications accompanying the same shalE 9n any way affect its obligations on this bond; a�d it
