COUNTIf OF SAN MATEO Agreement Na 45000-13-D001 A6REEMENT WITII INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOB EKhlbit"A" Agreement between the County of San Mateo and City of Redwood Citv Use Additional Sheets as Necessary 1. Descrintion of Services to be Performed bv the Contractor Contractor (City of Redwood City) shall furnish all labor, tools, equipment, transportation, materials, and supervision necessary to provide complete and continuous care of all lawn, trees, shrubs, and ground covers, for ongoing maintenance and other landscaping services at Garfield School Playing Fields as per attached Proposal(Eachibit "B"). Contractor shall submit a cost report to the County for any additional work needed. The County and Contractor shall agree to the scope and cost of any additional work and the additional work shall be authorized in writing by the Director of Public Works or his designated representative before said work is performed. Contractor shall walk the entire site each month with a County representative to ensure that all operations are being completed in a satisfactory manner. Contractor shall obtain all licenses and permits required by city,county and state authorities. The term of this Agreement is for July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2014 a twenty-four month period at the fees quoted on the attached Proposal dated July 30,2012. II.Amount and Method of Pavment Payment shall be made upon receipt of a written itemized invoice identifying the County Agreement number,complete scope of work, specific work completed,number of hours involved and breakdown of charges. In any event,the total payment far services on Contractor(City of Redwood City)shall not exceed$68,428.00(Sixty Eight Thousand Four Hundred Twenty Eight Dollars and No/00) attached proposal (E�ibit "B"). In any event, the County shall have the right to withhold payment if the County determines that the quantity and/or quality of the work performed is unacceptable.
