. �,. <br /> � r�tSR:yc; 8/22/74 <br /> � OR��tI�AL <br /> AU G 2 6 1974 <br /> R E S O L U T I 0 N N O.����� <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES <br /> OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA TO PURCHASE CERTAIN nESIGNATED <br /> VEHICLES <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. That, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2. 76 of the <br /> Code of the City of Redwood City, this Council has, on motion duly <br /> made on the affirmative vote of at least five members of said <br /> Council, suspended the requirements of Article VII of Chapter 2 <br /> of said Code relating to the purchase of materials , equipment and <br /> supplies with regard to the purchase hereinafter authorized. <br /> 2. That this Council does hereby authorize the Office of <br /> Procurement, Department of General Services of the State of <br /> California, to purchase nine police patrol vehicles for and on <br /> behalf of the City of Redwood City pursuant to Section 14814 of <br /> the California Government Code. <br /> 3. That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed <br /> ' to sign and deliver to said Department of General Services all <br /> necessary requests and other documents in connection with the <br /> purchase authorized herein for and on behalf of the Cityo uf <br /> Redwood City. <br /> * * * <br /> '7252 <br />
