'7 2 8 "� O���iN�� <br /> R E S O L U 'T' I O N N O . <br /> OCT � 1974 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT - LIQUID CHLORINE REQUIREMENTS <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.76 of <br /> the Code of the City of Red�aood City, this Council has suspended <br /> the requirements of Article VII of Chapter 2 of said Code relating <br /> to the purchase of material�, equipment, and supplies upon finding <br /> that strict compliance with said requirements would not serve the <br /> pu}alic interest in connectic�n with the purchase of liquid chlorine <br /> for the period July l, 1974 - June 30, 1975 ; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed and desires to approve <br /> an agreement for furnishing the liquid chlorine requirements of <br /> the City of Redwood City for said period; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: � <br /> l. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> enter into and execute on be�half of the City of Redwood City that <br /> certain agreement entitled "'Agreement for Furnishing Liquid Chlorine <br /> Redwood City Sewage Treatmerit plant" (form dated 9/27/74) for the <br /> furnishing of approximately 280 tons of liquid chlorine for the <br /> period ending June 30, 1975, by Jones Chemical, Inc. , a copy of <br /> which agreement is presently on file in the office of the City <br /> Clerk, to which copy referer�ce is hereby made for full particulars <br /> concerning the terms and cor.�ditions thereof. <br /> � * * <br /> � � � � <br /> � <br />
