i <br /> 'M:sh:10/10/1974 <br /> OR/��,�A� <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. <br /> �7 2 � � ��4 -� <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECiFICATIONS FOR <br /> THE DOWNTOWN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PHASE I, UNIT 4 - <br /> LANDSCAPING, IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY: AND <br /> AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br /> WHEREAS, there have been presented to this Council certain <br /> plans and specifications for the Downtown Improvement Project, <br /> Phase I, Unit 4 - Landscaping in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed the same and desires <br /> to signify its approval thereof and authorize the City Clerk <br /> to call for bids for the construction of said improvements; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TFiE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. Those certain plans entitled "Downtown Improvement <br /> Project Phase I, Unit 4 - Landscaping", those certain standard <br /> specifications entitled "City of Redwood City Standard Speci- <br /> fi�ations" (form dated August 1974) , and those certain special <br /> provisions entitled "Downtown Improvement Project Phase I, <br /> Unit 4 - Landscaping", prepared in the office of the City <br /> Engineer, are hereby approved. <br /> 2 . The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> advertise for bids for the construction of the above mentioned <br /> improvements, in accordance with the plans and specifications <br /> therefor, said advertisements to be in the form of that certain <br /> "Notice to Contractors" set forth in the above mentioned <br /> specifications. <br /> * * * <br /> � <br /> �` 2 � 9 <br />
