i <br /> CGM:sh:10/10/1974 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O . � � � � �'��������� <br /> - - - - - - - - - - - - �LT�l4 '� <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF <br /> FOUR FM TWO-WAY RADIOS <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 7260, adopted <br /> September 16, 1974, the City Clerk called for bids for the <br /> furnishing of four FM two-way radios, to be used for municipal <br /> purposes; and <br /> WHEREA5, pursuant to said call, one bid was received and <br /> filed with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipment; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, MOTOROLA, INC. , Foster City, California is the <br /> lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equip- <br /> ment, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> award said bid to Motorola, Inc. ; <br /> NOW, THEREFO RE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS : <br /> l. The bid of Motorola Inc. , in the total net delivered <br /> price to the City of Redwood City of Four Thousand Five Hundred <br /> and Seventy-nine and 20/100 Dollars ($4, 579.20) , for the furnish- <br /> ing of four FM tw�o-way radios, in accordance with the specifica- <br /> tions therefor, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby <br /> declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing <br /> of said equipment. <br /> 2 . Any informalities in the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 <br /> hereof are hereby waived. <br /> 3 . The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an <br /> agreement with Motorola Inc. , for the furnishing of the above <br /> mentioned equipment in accordance with and subject to the terms <br /> and conditions of the aforementioned specifications and said <br /> bidder' s proposal dated September 30, 1974. <br /> '� 2 9 �. <br /> � <br />
