i <br /> Nzs:�:s�:��/�_�f����r <br /> O�e�t�6�v�L' <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 6 � � � �rl� 74 <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISH- <br /> ING OF TWO GASOLINE POWERED TRANSIT COACHES <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 7251, adopted August <br /> 26, 1974, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of <br /> two gasoline powered transit coaches, to be used for municipal <br /> purposes; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and <br /> filed with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipme:it; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, FLEETWOOD TRANSIT BU�ES, INC. , Riverside, California <br /> is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equip- <br /> ment, and it i.s the intention and desire of this Council to award <br /> said bid to Fleetwood Transit Buses, Inc. , <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of Fleetwood Transit Buses, Inc. , in the total <br /> net delivered price to the City of Redwood City of Forty-one <br /> Thousand Six Hundred Eighty-six and 20/100 Dollars ($41,686.20) , <br /> consisting of base bid plus option, for the furnishing of two <br /> gasoline powered transit coaches, in accordance with the specifica- <br /> tions therefor, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby <br /> declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing <br /> of said equipment. <br /> 2 . Any informalities in the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 <br /> hereof are hereby waived. <br /> 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an <br /> agreement with Fleetwood Transit Buses, Inc. , for the furnishing <br /> of the above mentioned equipment in accordance with and subject to <br /> "� 29 � <br /> � <br />
