'� 2 9 4 q��� �;� <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT WITH THE POLICE YOUTH CL;UB OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> CALIFORNIA, INC. <br /> WHEREAS, The Police Youth Club of Redwood City, California, <br /> Inc. sponsors many programs and activities in which the youth <br /> of the City of Redwood City may enjoy educational, social, and <br /> athletic benefits under competent supervision; and <br /> WI�REAS, City of Redwood City recognizes that the programs <br /> and activities of The Police Youth Club of Redwood City, California, <br /> Inc. contribute to the health, welfare and morals and general <br /> well-being of the youth of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS, City proposes to contribute to The Police Youth <br /> Club of Redwood City, California, Inc. the sum of Twelve Thousand <br /> and No/100 Dollars ($12 , 000.00) in order that the Club may be able <br /> to continue its worthwhile programs and activities ; and <br /> WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for <br /> approval an agreement between the City of Redwood City, and The <br /> Police Youth Club of Redwood City, California, Inc, and it is the <br /> intention and desire of this Council to approve same; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> That certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated <br /> 9/25/74) by and between the City of Redwood City and The Police <br /> Youth Club of Redwood City, California, Inc. , a copy of which <br /> agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is <br /> hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and <br /> directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of <br /> Redwood City. <br /> * * * <br /> � �. � �W <br /> � <br />
