SECTION 1. That certain agreement entitled, "Second Amendment to <br />Uniform Franchise Agreement" (form dated 08/15/97), by and between the City <br />of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of California, and <br />Browning-Ferris Industries of California, Inc., amending Section 2.2(c) <br />("Extension") of said Master Franchise, a copy of which Second Amendment is <br />on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for <br />the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager and City <br />Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute, and to attest thereto, <br />respectively, said Second Amendment for and on behalf of the City of Redwood <br />City. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2.
