JR:1/04/84 ~ - <br /> LW:9/24/84 I Exhibit "B" ( .~ <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T Z O N ~ ~. 9710 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING MONTHLY CHARGES FOR THE MAKING OF <br /> SANITARY INSPECTIONS AND FOR THE COLLECTION AND REMOVAL OF <br /> REFUSE IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has advised this Council that <br /> the charges for sanitary inspection and refuse collection services in <br /> this City be amended to reflect the increase in costs incident in <br /> providing such services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to increase the charges for <br /> <br /> sanitary inspection and refuse collection services; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The schedule of charges for sanitary inspection and refuse <br />collection services shall be based upon the type and size of the <br />receptacle in which the refuse is deposited (except for mechanically <br />com~aated refuse) and the frequency of service as follows: <br /> <br /> (a) For weekly collection from receptacles not emptied by <br />mechanical means including semi-annual city-wide cleanup: <br /> <br /> 1. Customer-supplied containers at curbside: <br /> <br /> Capacity of Monthly Rate <br /> Receptacles : for each <br /> In Gallons Receptacle <br /> - 20 ........................... $ 5.07 <br /> 21 - 40 ........................... 6.60 <br /> 41 - 60 ........................... 8.06 <br />The charge for collections from each container, the capactiy of which <br />exceeds sixty (60) gallons, shall be eight dollars and six cents <br />($8.06) plus an ~amount equal to ten and nine-tenths cents (10.9) <br />times the number of gallons of such receptacle in excess of sixty <br />(60). <br /> <br /> <br />
