ATTACHMENT NO. 8 CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION THIS CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION ("Certificate") certifies that the Developer, as defined in that certain document entitled Disposition and Development Agreement, dated January 29,2001 (" DDA"), by and between the REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ("Agency"), the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ("City") and WESTERN INNISFREE VENTURES, LLC, has complied with all te~,~s and conditions contained in the DDA governing the Developer's obligations to construct the Project described thereunder. The development described in the DDA is thus hereby deemed complete and accepted in all respects by the Agency, within the meaning of Section 517 of the DDA, and neither the Agency nor any other person shall have any right, remedy or control pursuant to the DDA hereafter, including without limitation any right to re-enter the property or revest in the Agency the estate conveyed to the Developer or exercise any other rights provided in Section 810 of the DDA. Furthermore, the encumbrance created by the following language: "The Grantor has the limited and conditional right to the return of title and possession of the Property and all improvements thereon, and to the termination and revesting in the Grantor of the estate conveyed to the Grantee hereby, as such right is set forth in Section 810 of the Agreement; provided that such right to renter, take possession, terminate, and revest shall expire and be of no further force or effect upon the recordation by the Grantee of the Certificate of Completion." appearing in the Grant Deed from the Agency to Developer, recorded in the office of the Recorder of the County of San Mateo on as Document No. is hereby removed. Nothing contained in this Certificate of Completion shall be deemed to waive or otherwise affect the covenants against discrimination set forth in the final paragraph of the Grant Deed, which provisions shall survive the recordation of this certificate.
