DES:djk ~q/13/96 (001/72) <br /> <br /> A G R E E M E N T ORIGINAL <br /> PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES - SOILS INVESTIGATION <br /> PHASE II ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT <br /> <br /> (MEZES PLAZA PROJECT) <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this day of <br /> <br /> , 1996, by and between the REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br /> <br />OF THE C OF REDWOOD CITY, a redevelopment agency of the State <br /> <br />of California, ("Agency"), and SUBSURFACE CONSULTANTS, INC., of <br />Oakland, California ("Consultant"); <br /> <br /> W I TNE S S E TH : <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Agency requires professional environmental and <br />geotechnical services for the investigation of subsurface soil <br />and groundwater contamination and conditions of the Mezes Plaza <br />Project site in the City of Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the <br />experience, and is qualified, to perform the aforesaid services <br />required for the Project; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall perform all of <br />those certain services described in Consultant's Scope of <br />Services marked Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by this <br />reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> 2. COMPENSATION; EXPENSES; PAYMENT. Agency shall <br />compensate Consultant for all services performed by Consultant <br />hereunder in an amount based upon Consultant's hourly rates that <br />are currently prevailing during the time of the performance of <br />said services. A copy of Consultant's hourly rates for which <br />services hereunder shall be performed are set forth in <br /> <br /> <br />
