(This information is also <br />av-~3e Cb:*~__?. tX'Je T.,eague'a c~ ~ewa~ ~eerv/oa, amA~v.¢acities.om/leotrackine.) <br /> <br /> January 5 Legislature convenes for second year of two-year session. <br /> January 10 Budget for this year must be submitted by the Governor. <br /> <br /> January 16 Last day for policy committees in house of origin to hear and pass bills introduced in <br /> 2003. <br /> <br /> January 23 Last day for any legislative committee in house of origin to hear and pass bills <br /> introduced in 2003. <br /> <br /> January 23 Last day to submit bill language to Legislative Counsel. <br /> January 31 Last day for bills introduced in 2003 to pass out of the house of origin. <br /> February 20 Last day to introduce a bill. <br /> April 1 Legislative spring recess begins. <br /> April 12 Legislature reconvenes from spring recess. <br /> <br /> April 23 Last day for policy committees to hear and pass to fiscal committees fiscal bills <br /> introduced in their house, <br /> <br /> May 7 Last day for policy committees to hear and pass to the floor <br /> non-fiscal bills introduced in their house. <br /> <br /> May 21 Last day for fiscal committees to hear and pass to the floor house of origin bills. <br /> May 28 Last day for bills to pass out of their house of origin. <br /> June 15 Budget must be passed by midnight. <br /> June 25 Last day for policy committees to meet and pass any bill from the other house. <br /> July 2 Summer recess begins if state budget is passed. <br /> August 2 Legislature. reconvenes from summer recess (assuming it has recessed). <br /> August 13 Last day for fiscal committees to hear and pass bills to the floor. <br /> August 31 Last day for each house to pass any bill.
