RESOLUTION SA NO. 12-12 OF THE SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE <br /> REDWOOD CITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY APPROVING THE GRANT <br /> OF, AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF GRANT DEEDS AND CERTIFICATES <br /> OF ACCEPTANCE FOR, REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY <br /> 4. Section - Ordinance(s) - None. <br /> 5. Section - Claim(s) and Check(s) <br /> A. Approve claims and checks dated November 19, 2012 and the usual <br /> and necessary payments through December 3, 2012. (303) <br /> MINUTE ORDER 12-214 <br /> 7. STAFF REPORT(S) - None. <br /> 8. MATTERS OF COUNCIL INTEREST <br /> A. City Council Member Report of Conferences Attended <br /> Council Member Bain attended a meeting called Matching Cities in a Time of Change. <br /> The issues of Bike-able and Walk-able communities were explored. He said he can <br /> provide copies of resources, if the Council so desires. <br /> Council Seybert and Vice Mayor Gee attended the welcoming of a new ship to the Port <br /> of Redwood City. There was a news article through KCBS that mentioned this vessel. <br /> The ship was on its maiden voyage and he appreciated the opportunity to welcome the <br /> Captain to Redwood City. <br /> Mayor Aguirre was part of the ribbon cutting ceremony at Bristol-Myers Squibb's new <br /> facility. CEOs from Pennsylvania and different areas were present and that they <br /> mentioned their desire to be in the bio-tech corridor and hence moved to Redwood City. <br /> Furthermore, the Mayor also attended the inauguration of the Smart Corridor project, <br /> which will assist in rerouting traffic. Lastly, next Saturday, Dec. 1St everyone is invited to <br /> the Hometown Holidays starting at 10 a.m. This is a great event that should be enjoyed <br /> by all. <br /> Mayor Aguirre wished the community a great Thanksgiving. <br /> B. City Council Committee Reports — None <br /> C. City Manager (Oral) Update - <br /> 9. ADJOURN — M/S Foust/Gee to adjourn the meeting at 8:35 p.m. in memory of <br /> Mary Christine Rosselli, spouse of a former Mayor.
