Alex Handlers, senior consultant, will also be assigned. Both Tom and Alex <br />are very familiar with Redwood City's recycling program, having previously developed a <br />plan to finance the recycling facilities. . <br /> <br />Bartle Wells Associates <br />Bartle Wells Associates has over 3S years experience in all types of analysis offmancial <br />issues for local governments. Our firm was established in 1964 to provide unbiased, <br />professional advice to public agencies on the financing of public works projects. We have <br />completed over 2,000 assignments for water and sewer agencies in California. ;i.\>1'~-. . <br />.- .-r. <br /> <br />Scope of Services <br />Bartle Wells Associates will provide the following consulting services working at all <br />times in close cooperation with City staff and its other consultants as directed. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Work with City staff as requested to determine the short-term impact of the recycling <br />pro!:,Tfam and the SFPUC's projected increases in water costs to Redwood City water <br />users. Examine the impacts of SFPUC costs on the City's water utility expenses. <br />Recommend water rate alternatives that Redwood City may employ to mitigate such <br />cost increases to its customers. <br /> <br />..""'-"-"-' <br /> <br />,.....". ...... <br />
