Adoption of public works standards, specifications and <br /> regulations. <br /> A. The City Engineer shall recommend for Council approval, standards, <br /> specifications and regulations, regarding public works improvements and <br /> amendments thereto, which may be approved by resolution of the City <br /> Council. All public works improvements and construction shall comply with <br /> such engineering standards, specifications and regulations. <br /> B. The following standards, details, specifications and/or policies regarding <br /> public works improvements are requirements for such improvements and are <br /> in effect in the City of Redwood City. <br /> 1. City of Redwood City Engineering Standards, Volumes 1, 2 and 3. That <br /> certain document on file with the City Clerk, known and designated as <br /> "City of Redwood City Engineering Standards, Volumes 1, 2 and 3, as <br /> may be amended from time to time pursuant to subsection A herein <br /> above. A copy of these standards shall be available for review by <br /> members of the public in the office of the City Clerk and also on the City's <br /> website. <br /> 2. Standard Plans and Specifications, California Department of <br /> Transportation, latest edition. That certain document on file with the City <br /> Engineer, known and designated as the California Department of <br /> Transportation Standard Plans and Specifications, latest edition, is <br /> hereby adopted by reference and made a part hereof, provided, however, <br /> in the event there is any conflict between the City of Redwood City <br /> Engineering Standards and the California Department of Transportation <br /> Standard Plans and Specifications, those of the City of Redwood City <br /> Engineering Standards shall control. <br /> ATTY/ORD.377/AMENDING CHAPTER 29 STREETS, SIDEWALKS AND DRIVEWAYS <br /> REV: 11-16-12 JS <br /> Page 3 of 28 <br />
