6.1.A. - Page 13 EXHIBIT "A" SCOPE OF SERVICES AND TIME SCHEDULE PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Design, bid support and construction services for the Bair Island Storm Pump Station Project SCOPE OF SERVICES: TASK 1 — PROJECT MANAGEMENT This task includes the overall management of the project as follows. 1. Provide project coordination; communicating project issues with the City; setting up the project plan, design schedule as well as monitoring and updating the schedule, and tracking and reporting job progress. 2. Attend a minimum of six (6) meetings; Project kick-off meeting; Preliminary Design review meeting ; 90% Design review meeting; 100% Final Design review meeting; Pre bid meeting and Pre construction meeting Deliverables: • Project design schedule • Monthly progress report • Meeting agenda and meeting minutes Assumptions: • Six Meetings TASK 2 —SURVEYING, UTILITIES RESEARCH and GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATION This phase provides the surveying and utilities research for the project. This task includes the following: 1. KPFF Consulting Engineers has completed the topographic base mapping for the project. The survey map will be provided to the selected consultant for review and use. The consultant shall review and clarify utility information based on as-built plans from the City and private utility companies, and topographic features. Verify features as needed. 2. If existing utilities are in question after the review, the consultant may, with approval from the City, contract with a potholing company to confirm the location and depth of the utilities if needed. 3. The geotechnical investigation for Bair Island Road was completed by Treadwell & Rollo on November 12, 2008. Consultant shall review the document and incorporate pertinent information for use in design.
