6.1.A. - Page 13 <br /> EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES AND TIME SCHEDULE <br /> PROJECT DESCRIPTION: <br /> Design, bid support and construction services for the Bair Island Storm Pump Station <br /> Project <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES: <br /> TASK 1 — PROJECT MANAGEMENT <br /> This task includes the overall management of the project as follows. <br /> 1. Provide project coordination; communicating project issues with the City; setting up the <br /> project plan, design schedule as well as monitoring and updating the schedule, and <br /> tracking and reporting job progress. <br /> 2. Attend a minimum of six (6) meetings; Project kick-off meeting; Preliminary Design review <br /> meeting ; 90% Design review meeting; 100% Final Design review meeting; Pre bid meeting <br /> and Pre construction meeting <br /> Deliverables: <br /> • Project design schedule <br /> • Monthly progress report <br /> • Meeting agenda and meeting minutes <br /> Assumptions: <br /> • Six Meetings <br /> TASK 2 —SURVEYING, UTILITIES RESEARCH and GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATION <br /> This phase provides the surveying and utilities research for the project. This task includes the <br /> following: <br /> 1. KPFF Consulting Engineers has completed the topographic base mapping for the project. <br /> The survey map will be provided to the selected consultant for review and use. The <br /> consultant shall review and clarify utility information based on as-built plans from the City <br /> and private utility companies, and topographic features. Verify features as needed. <br /> 2. If existing utilities are in question after the review, the consultant may, with approval from <br /> the City, contract with a potholing company to confirm the location and depth of the utilities <br /> if needed. <br /> 3. The geotechnical investigation for Bair Island Road was completed by Treadwell & Rollo on <br /> November 12, 2008.
