8.A. - Page 18 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AMENDING <br /> CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE IV, SECTION 2.37 TO ESTABLISH AN <br /> ENTERPRISE FUND FOR THE OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE OF <br /> THE DOCKTOWN MARINA <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. , adopted February 25, 2013, the <br /> City of Redwood City, hereinafter called "City," assumed responsibility for the operations <br /> and maintenance of the Docktown Marina; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the expenses of funds from slip rental and other sources are <br /> necessary for the ongoing maintenance and operations of this City-owned facility; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable that an enterprise fund be established <br /> for the deposit of said funds and for the accounting thereof; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. The above constitute the Council's findings, which are hereby <br /> incorporated herein by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br /> Section 2. Chapter 2 ADMINISTRATION, Article IV FUNDS is hereby amended <br /> to amend Section 2.37 (RESERVED) as follows: <br /> Section 2.37. DOCKTOWN MARINA MANAGEMENT FUND: An <br /> enterprise fund to be known as the "DOCKTOWN MARINA <br /> MANAGEMENT FUND" is hereby established. All moneys <br /> received by the City of Redwood City from tenants and other <br /> sources for the operations and maintenance of the Docktown <br /> Marina shall be deposited in the DOCKTOWN MARINA <br /> MANAGEMENT FUND and shall be expended solely for the <br /> following purposes in the order set forth: <br /> (a) For the payment of utility invoices from public utility <br /> companies; <br /> (b) For the payment of license or other fees supporting <br /> access and the operations of the Marina; <br /> ATTY/ORD.385/AMENDING CHAPTER 2 ARTICLE IV ENTERPRISE FUND DOCKTOWN <br /> REV:02-20-13 VR <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
