~AS:djk ll/Z8/88 (~OlZ/Z4) RES 0 L UTI 0 N ------- N O. 10944 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO ACCEPT GRANTS OR DEEDS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 7101 WHEREAS, Section 27281 of the Government Code of the State of California requires that deeds or grants conveying any interest in or easement upon real estate to political corporations be accepted by the grantee prior to being recorded; and WHEREAS, said Section 27281 provides a method whereby an officer or agent may be authorized by the political corporation to accept such deeds or grants on its behalf; NOW, THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: , 1. That Arlyn C. Jorgenson, City Clerk of the City of Redwood City, he and she hereby ~.s authurized to accept, un behalf of the City of Redwood City, all deeds or grants conveying an interest in or easement upon real estate to the City of Redwood City. 2. That Resolution No. 7101, adopted January 21, 1974, by the Council of the City of Redwood City, is hereby rescinded. Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof held on the 5th day of December, 1988, by the following votes: AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution: Councilmemhers Buchan, Bury, Claire, LaBerge, Murray and Mayor Greenalch NOES: ABSENT: None Councilman Stangel John H.
