<br /> persons named in Califomia Civil Code Section 3181 whose claim has not been paid by the
<br /> Contrackar, company or corporadon in the aggregate total of

<br /> THE CONDITION OF THE FOREGOING OBLIGATION 1S SUCH that, whereas the abr�ve with
<br /> the City of Redwood City ("City")to do the following work, to-wit:
<br /> WATER MAlN SEISMIC IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
<br /> NQW, THEREF4RE, if the above-bounden Princ9pal or his subcontractars faiJ to pay any of the
<br /> persons named in Section 3�81 of the Civil Code of the State of California, or amounts due
<br /> Under the Unemplayment lnsurance Code with respect ta work or labor perfarmed under the
<br /> Cantract, or for any amounts required to be detEucted, withtteld, and paid over to the
<br /> Employment Development Department fram the wages of emplayees of the Cantractar and his
<br /> subcontractor pursuant to Section �3020 of the Unemployment Insurance Code of the State of
<br /> Califomia, with respect to such work and labor, the surety will pay for the same, in the amount
<br /> not exceeding the sum specified in this bond, and also, in case suit is brought upon this bond, a
<br /> reasanable attorney's fee, to be fixed by the Court.
<br /> This bond shall inure to the benefit of any person named in Sectian 3181 of the Civil Cade af Ehe
<br /> State af California sQ as to give a right of action to them or their assignees in suit brought upon
<br /> this bond.
<br /> This bond is executed and fied to compfy with the pro�isians of tne act of the Legislature of the
<br /> State of Califomia as designated in Civil Code Seetians 3247-3252, inclusive, and all
<br /> amendments thereto.
<br /> And the said Surety, for value receivecl, hereby stiputa#es and agrees to waive #he provisions of
<br /> CalifornEa Civil Code Section 2$19 regarding consent to change, extension of time alteration, or
<br /> addition to the terms of the Contract, or to the work to be perfarmed thereunder, or the
<br /> Specificatiflns accompanying the same, shall in any way affect its obligations on this bond; and
<br /> it daes hereby waive notice of any such change, extension of time, alteration, or adclition to the
<br /> terms af the Contract, or to the work, or to the Specifications.
