Fire alarm signals shall be transmitted to the central station and retransmitted by <br /> zone to the public safety communications center (Ordinance2361). <br /> 33. All fire alarm systems shall be certificated by the Underwriters Laboratories <br /> (Ordinance 2361). <br /> 34. Fire apparatus access roads shall have an unobstructed vertical clearance of not <br /> less than 13 feet 6 inches (IFC 503.2.1). Therefore, the canopy shall have an <br /> unobstructed vertical clearance of not less than 13 feet 6 inches. <br /> 35. Applicant shall replace the ADA ramp located at the northeast corner of Charter <br /> Street and Middlefield Road, in front of the Mexican food restaurant. This ramp was <br /> originally installed as part of the warehouse construction project and has failed. <br /> 36. Applicant shall comply with all City, State and Federal regulations, applicable to <br /> the Project. <br /> 37. Where a Use Permit Modification and/or Architectural Permit, have not been <br /> used within one (1) year from the date of granting, either by beginning of construction of <br /> the improvements or by the initiation of the activity which is the subject of the Use <br /> Permit Modification and Architectural Permit, said Permits shall automatically terminate <br /> and be of no further effect. <br /> 38. Pursuant to Section 1.54 of the City's Municipal Code, Applicant shall defend, <br /> indemnify, and hold harmless the City, its agents, officers, and employees from any <br /> claim, action, or proceeding against the City or its agents, officers or employees, <br /> including but not limited to the City Council, and the City's and City Council's agents, <br /> officers or employees, from third party(ies) involving or related to the City's <br /> consideration and or approval of Applicant's Expansion Project application. The City <br /> shall promptly notify Applicant of any such claim, action or proceeding and shall <br /> cooperate fully in the defense. <br /> Section 8.
