Redwood City Costco Gasoline Expansion ProjE 7.A. - Page 424 <br /> August 4,2011 ruye� <br /> As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the peak month for warehouse transactions were December 2009 and <br /> December 2010, which is consistent with annual trends and seasonal peaks at other Costco <br /> warehouse locations and retail uses in general. Activity at the Redwood City Costco warehouse in <br /> May 2011 when the counts were collected was above the average for the time period from November <br /> 2009 to May 2011. In addition, the only months with more transactions than May 2011 were during <br /> the holiday season in December 2009 and December 2010. The peak month since the warehouse <br /> expansion reopening, December 2010, had approximately 11% higher activity than that during May <br /> 2011 when the counts were collected. <br /> A daily profile for the warehouse transactions was also developed to identify how warehouse activity <br /> fluctuates by the hour during an average weekday (Monday through Friday) or weekend day <br /> (Saturday and Sunday).
