r� � <br /> �V��V������ <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> Pacific Electric Contracting, Inc. <br /> THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into as of the � day of�f� _, <br /> 201`3, by and between the City of Redwood City, a charter city and municipal corporation of the <br /> State of California ("City"), and Pacific Electric Contracting, Inc. ("Contractor"). <br /> RECITALS <br /> A. City requires Contractor's services. <br /> B. Contractor has the necessary experience in providing professional services and advice. <br /> C. Selection of Contractor is expected to achieve the desired results in an expedited fashion. <br /> D. Contractor has submitted a proposal to City and has affirmed its willingness and ability to <br /> perform such work. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these recitals and the mutual covenants contained <br /> herein, the Parties agree as follows: <br /> 1. Scope of Work and Time for PerFormance. Contractor shall perForm everything required <br /> to be perFormed, shall provide and furnish all of the labor, equipment, materials, and <br /> tools to perform, within thirty (30) calendar days after the NOTICE TO PROCEED, the <br /> following work: <br /> EAST BAYSHORE ROAD STREET LIGHTING PROJECT <br /> in strict accordance with the Plans, Contract Documents and Specifications pertaining <br /> thereto as described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein, signed by <br /> the Manager, Engineering and Construction of Redwood City, which Documents are <br /> incorporated herein and made a part of this Agreement as if herein fully set forth. <br /> 2. Compensation. City shall pay to Contractor, as full consideration for the faithful <br /> perFormance by Contractor of the aforementioned work, the amount of Fifty Thousand <br /> Nine Hundred Sixty Two and 00/100 Dollars $50,962.00 computed in accordance with <br /> Contractor's accepted Proposal dated November 14, 2012 which accepted Proposal is <br /> incorporated herein by reference thereto as if herein fully set forth. <br /> 3. Standard of Performance. All of the work to be done shall be done to the approval of, <br /> City or its authorized representative, and the work shall be done in the best workmanlike <br /> manner, conforming strictly to the provisions of the specifications and plans made <br /> thereof.
